Bacon Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 1 lb. thick-sliced bacon, cut into large pieces
- lemon juice
- 1 small cabbage, shredded
- 1 small red cabbage, shredded
- 1 small red onion, halved and sliced thin
- 2 carrots, shredded
- 8 green onions, sliced
Method
- Dressing:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons celery seed
- salt and pepper -- to taste
- Mix together vegetables. Make dressing and mix into vegetables. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
