Barbeque Sauce
Ingredients
- canola oil
- 1 large onion, minced
- 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 28 ounce can tomatoes, with juice
- 3/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon chile powder
- 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1/3 cup orange juice
Method
- Cook onion in canola oil until golden. Add remaining ingredients. Boil and reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until thickened for 2-2 1/2 hours.
