Chocolate Gelato
Ingredients
- 2 cups plain soy creamer
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3 3 tab cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Method
- Combine creamer, sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt in small saucepan and bring to simmer.
- Cook 3-4 minutes, or until slightly thickened, whisking constantly. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate and vanilla until chocolate is melted.
- Chill 4 hours or overnight.
- Freeze in ice cream maker.
