Chocolate Gelato

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain soy creamer
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 3 3 tab cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Method

  • Combine creamer, sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt in small saucepan and bring to simmer.
  • Cook 3-4 minutes, or until slightly thickened, whisking constantly. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate and vanilla until chocolate is melted.
  • Chill 4 hours or overnight.
  • Freeze in ice cream maker.
