Low-Fat Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup skim milk
  • 3 cups skim milk
  • 1 cup half and half
  • vanilla beans/vanilla to taste

Method

  • Mix together sugar & skim milk and simmer until dissolved about 3 minutes; cool.
  • Add to milk and cream and freeze in ice cream maker.
