Bavarian Pear (or Peach) Tart

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Method

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Mix butter, sugar. Add flour and vanilla and press into 8x8" pan. Bake 20 minutes @ 350F (not longer). Cool.
  • Blend cream cheese, egg, vanilla and sugar. Pour over cooled crust. Arrange sliced pears on top and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.

Notes
