Bavarian Pear (or Peach) Tart
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup sugar
Method
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Mix butter, sugar. Add flour and vanilla and press into 8x8" pan. Bake 20 minutes @ 350F (not longer). Cool.
- Blend cream cheese, egg, vanilla and sugar. Pour over cooled crust. Arrange sliced pears on top and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
Notes
