Bibim Bap....Rice Medley
Ingredients
- 1 1/3 cups round steak, julienned
- 2 teaspoon each soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar
- pepper to taste
- 4 teaspoons garic, minced
- 4 teaspoons sesame oil
- 16 shitake mushrooms, rehydrated, cut in thin strips
- 2 cups each carrots, cucumber, shredded
- 4 cups Spinach Salad
- 2 cups Spicy Daikon Salad
- 2 cups Bean Sprout Salad
- 8 eggs, scrambled
- 4 cups lettuce, shredded
- 8 tablespoons Bibam Bap Sauce
Method
- Make Spinach Salad, Spicy Daikon Salad and Bean Sprout Salad. Set aside or refrigerate.
- Mix soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, pepper and garlic with the beef. Cook in hot wok just until color changes. Remove from pan and keep warm.
- Heat the 4 teaspoons of sesame oil in the wok. Add mushrooms, carrots and cucumber. Remove from pan. Add eggs and scramble.
- Fill rice bowls with rice about 1/2 way. Add to each: meat, mushrooms/carrot/cucumber mixture, salads, eggs, lettuce and sauce. Finish with a sprinkle of sesame oil.
